BLOG BURNER:

It was only a matter of time before Theo produced something that reduced his growing number of doubters to a quivering pulp and with this being among his first new remixes since 2009, any fanciful expectations have been surpassed by a quantum leap. Fakie B is back and he's moulded Noah & The Whale into a hybrid of bouncing basslines, disturbing breakdowns and barnyard strings. And yes, that is as ridiculous as it sounds.

By now you should be getting giddy as the release of Ed Banger's 'Let The Children Techno' draws ever closer. If not, then a strategic leak of one of the compilation's biggest curveball's should do it. 'Boat Party' is a completely new track by Dubstep legend and Magnetic Man, Skream as he dashes a sub-battering future flex with a streak of pure Parisian flare.

Keeping it south of the Channel, Kitsune favourites, Beataucue have delivered a dancefloor slamming remix on fellow Frenchies Yelle. Rolled along by a rib-rattling kick and set up by a super-smooth vocal loop, the resulting drop would make Afrojack shit himself. If you like 'Dirty Dutch' then prepare to set the Screw Face to 'Woman Repeller'.

Finally, it's time for some spiralling, up-tempo Disco from the Brooklyn originals' Hercules & Love Affair. With new album 'Blue Songs' now out for all to hear, it's safe to say they've definitely not succumb to second album syndrome. Here Moonlight Matters give the remix treatment to album opener 'Painted Eyes'. Slap bass alert!
